WELCOME TO A.L.L.
Important Registration Information – Read
this first
Because of the increase in the number of
satellite locations used by the Academy, the format of the catalog has
been changed. Courses are now listed by a color code as shown below.
Please take this into consideration as you plan your registration. A
schedule list of the fall courses, arranged by day and time offered, can
be found on the web site menu.

As always, we have worked hard to offer
you interesting courses. For the tuition charge of $75, you may select 2
twelve-week courses, or 1 twelve-week and 2 six-week courses, or 4
six-week courses.
Starting the first week of the semester
members may enroll (at no additional cost) in any additional
courses in which there is not full enrollment. These courses will be
posted on the bulletin board in the office area.
Note that we have over 2000 available seats
in all the classes combined. But please note that some classes only allow
15 students. If you want to be one of those 15, register early, and note
backup courses on your registration form should you be number 16 and not
get into your first choice. Most classes have 20-35 available openings and
a few allow up to 60 students. Hopefully we will all have a great
semester.
PLEASE use the additional
course lines on your registration sheet for 2 reasons:
We are limiting class size to
either room size or smaller in cases where there are individual
instruction/assignments.
If you have a class listed in
the lower section that is unde- registered, you may get an extra class
immediately we are working on this).
Please follow these important steps.
Read the catalog carefully. If a
course is listed with an asterisk (*) you may consult the Academy
website (www.allcapecod.org)
for a longer description of the course content.
Follow the course selection
instructions on the registration form. List the initial course
selections you would like, followed by extra choices in case your
initial choices are already filled. Keep a copy of your course requests.
Mail or hand carry your $75
check and completed registration form to the A.L.L. office at the
address shown on the registration form.
If you do not receive a phone
call from the office, it means your initial or alternate course choices
have been granted.
If there is a discrepancy
between the student schedule you receive and the course catalog, follow
the course catalog information, unless a correction notice is included.
Assignments to classes are made
according to the order in which registration forms are received. Please
mail or hand carry your registration form and check to the A.L.L. office
as quickly as possible.

ELIGIBILITY
The Academy is open to all persons 50 and
over who are interested in learning.
TUITION AND BENEFITS
Tuition is $75 per semester. The number of
courses for which one can register for this fee is detailed on page 2. In
addition, members can obtain a college identification card which entitles
them to use of the college library, fitness center, and other facilities.
Members are invited to join one or more of the standing committees and/or
to coordinate courses, and to participate in the wide range of social
activities, field trips, and special events sponsored by the Academy.
Course coordinators receive one semester’s
free tuition. If a course has more than one coordinator, the tuition fee
is reduced by half for two coordinators and by one third if it has three
coordinators. Lifetime Legacy Members receive free tuition.
REFUND POLICY
Refund of tuition is available only
through the first week of the semester except in hardship cases,
SESSIONS
The spring semester is from January 28 to
May 5. Many courses run the full semester, but some are of six week
duration in the first or second half of the semester.
A.L.L. classes do not meet on days when
the college is closed. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see the academic calendar for the
spring semester.
CANCELLATION OF COURSES
Courses with low enrollments may be
cancelled before the semester begins. Those who registered for these
courses may enroll in other courses based on space available or receive a
tuition refund.
WITHDRAWALS
If after receiving your course
confirmation, you find that you are unable to attend a particular course,
please notify the Academy office at 508 362-2131, extension 4400. If the

member to take your place. If after starting a course you find you will
not be attending it any longer for some reason, please notify the office.
There is no need to stipulate the reason.

Classes are held at Cape Cod Community
College unless otherwise noted. Please check the course listing for room
