ELIGIBILITY

The Academy is open to all persons 50 and over who are interested in learning.

TUITION

Tuition is $75 per semester.

Membership benefits include registering for 2 courses per semester (6-week courses counting as ½ course toward the maximum of 2), and additional courses after the first week of the semester if space is avail-able; participation in committees; voting privileges; invitations to A.L.L. special events; use of the Community College library, gymnasium and other facilities; a College ID card; and A.L.L. catalogs and mailings for two years. Legacy Lifetime Members receive free tuition.

Coordinators receive one free tuition ($75) for each course they lead. If a course has more than one coordinator wishing to take courses, they will share the one free tuition. A coordinator may choose to defer the tuition credit to the following semester (new policy).

REFUND POLICY

Refund of tuition is available only through the first week of the semester, except on a case-by-case basis.

SESSIONS

Spring semester is from January 29 to April 30. Many courses run the full semester, but some are of six-week duration in the first or second term.

CANCELLATIONS

Courses with low enrollments may be canceled before the semester begins. Those who registered for these courses may enroll in other courses based on space available or receive a tuition refund.

NOTE: A.L.L. classes are canceled on days when Community College classes are canceled.

WITHDRAWALS

We need your help! When you receive your course confirmation and find that you are not able to attend the course, please notify the Academy office at 508-362-2131, extension 4400. Since courses are often filled to capacity, this allows the next person on the waiting list to take your place. You need not call if you cannot attend one meeting because of illness or for personal reasons.

CLASSROOMS

Classes are held at Cape Cod Community College unless otherwise noted. Please check the course listings for room assignments.
